Privacy Policy

This policy explains what NOMAD LABS LLC collects when you use nomad-labs.co or buy from us, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect

• When you buy. Purchases are handled by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle collects your name, email address, billing address, country and payment details under its own privacy policy. Paddle shares with us your email address, your country, an order identifier (never your card number), and a record of what you bought and when.
• When you download. After you pay, we email you a link to your download page at get.nomad-labs.co, using the email address Paddle gives us. The download page checks your order with Paddle and keeps a record of which orders it has emailed. It uses your IP address to limit repeated attempts, and records it in our server log only when that limit is exceeded. We also email that address when a new version of a product you bought is released, with your download link. Every such email has a one-click unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops update emails only, and we keep a one-way hash of your address so we don't email it again.
• When you email us. Your email address and whatever you write to us.
• When you use the support form. What you choose and type in the form on our support page: the kind of problem, the product, where it runs, version numbers, your email address and your description, plus any screenshots and log files you attach. The form is handled by our service at get.nomad-labs.co, which gives the request a ticket number, stores it, and emails it to us. Attachments are stored as you sent them; check that a log holds no passwords or keys before you attach it. The service uses a one-way hash of your IP address to limit repeated submissions, and records the address in its log only when a limit is exceeded.
• When you browse. We set no cookies of our own and run no advertising. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which sites link visitors to us; it sets no cookies, does not fingerprint or track you across sites, and is described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. Some pages also use a small script for visual effects only; it collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere. When you open a checkout, Paddle's checkout loads from Paddle's servers and may use cookies and similar technologies for payment processing and fraud prevention, as described in Paddle's privacy policy.

Why we hold it

To deliver what you bought, to answer you when you write to us, to handle refunds, and to meet tax and accounting obligations that require us to keep records of sales. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who else sees it

Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates) sells our products as merchant of record, processes payments, handles sales tax, and holds the payment record under its own privacy policy at paddle.com/legal/privacy. Resend sends the email carrying your download link, under its own privacy policy at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy. Resend also carries the email that brings us your support request. Cloudflare hosts this site and the download page. Our email provider carries messages between us. Nobody else, except where the law requires disclosure.

How long we keep it

Sale and expense records are kept for seven years, because tax and accounting rules require records that substantiate them. Support email is kept while it is useful to answer you and then deleted. A support form request, with its attachments, is deleted from our service 180 days after you send it; ask sooner and we delete it sooner.

Your choices

Write to support@nomad-labs.co to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will delete what we are not required to keep. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — ask and we will honour them.

Where data is held

We operate from the United States, and data is processed there and by our providers. If you buy from outside the United States, your information is transferred there.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Material changes are reflected in the "last updated" date above.
